Piotr Olech

We have the honour to receive during Mid-Europe Early Music Festival a remarkable countertenor Piotr Olech. He graduated from the Gdansk Music Academy where he completed his studies with prof. Piotra Kusiewicz.He also participated at masterclasses with  Paul Eswood, Kai Wessel, or The King’s  Singers.

He collaborates with The Polish Royal Opera, The Opera of Bern, with many European philharmonies and consorts like Concerto Polacco, Wrocławska Orkiestra Barokowa, Concerto Köln, Capella Cracoviensis, Solamente Naturali, Ensemble Polyharmonique, Il Tempo, Musica Aeterna, Ars Cantus, Harmonia Sacra, Consortium Sedinum, {Oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna.

He sings concerts with conductors like  Marek Toporowski, Paul McCreesh, Władysław Kłosiewicz, Andrew Parrott, Jan Tomasz Adamus, Konrad Junghänel, Paul Goodwin, Andreas Spering, Jarosław Thiel, Roberto Balconi, Fabio Bonizzoni. He is regularly invited to take part at festivals in Poland, in Belgium, in France, in Spain, in Holland, Germany Italy, Lituania, Czech Republic and others….

He is particularly happy of his regular collaboration with the Collegium Vocale Gent and Philippe Herreweghe.
